What’s this?

I didn’t know at first either, but it is a little glass toy that someone gave to Saya.  When you blow into the tube at the top it makes really good popping sounds.  It’s the prettiest little thing, but very delicate.  I think I’ll put this one away until she’s a little bit older.

feels like summer

Today Junji, Saya, and I had an afternoon nap together.  We had all of the windows open, so there was a nice breeze in the house.

In our garden, later in the afternoon.  I bought this dress for Saya in Thailand–it’s perfect for hot summer days.
