Today we walked and walked and walked. We left the house at 1:30 and returned at 6:30. It was the perfect day for it–there was no sun to tire us out. We stopped at a park, ran into some people we know, took some photos, visited a friend in the hospital, and went to a gallery. The gallery was our only planned destination. Junji wanted to check out the exhibition of Masuda Tsutomo pottery.
This is the artist’s name. I like the handwriting.
The pots are really beautiful–clean, solid, simple. We wanted to buy them all up for our house.
I could imagine Junji and I enjoying morning coffee in these cups.
This wooden spoon was the only thing we let Saya get her hands on. (Actually baby + pottery exhibit is not a good combination. Saya was pretty frustrated by the time we left.)
Something interesting from our walk.
Old building in our neighborhood.
I saw this man taking care of his bonsai tree, so I asked him if I could take a picture.
