Yesterday was another gorgeous day in Kochi. I took Saya to central park for a while, and as usual she made some new friends. These two were chasing each other all over the place. Saya met a baby as well, and she was being so sweet with him.

Saya makes me nervous when she plays because she tries to walk so fast. She looks really unsteady when she speeds up, but she just goes for it. Fearless!

Junji and I have been starting our mornings with a walk along the river near our house. We just get out of bed, get Saya all bundled up, and go. The sun is rising and the light is beautiful on the river. I have been wanting to take a picture of [...]

Enjoying a beautiful day in Kochi.
I have really been getting into sewing lately. I am teaching myself, mostly by studying the pictures in Japanese sewing books. I made Saya a little jumper using this cute elephant-print fabric. There are more pictures on our Flickr page too.
